PLEASE NOTE that all enquiries and donations should be made to Gill on the number below.

We are NOT able to accept donations at Federation House.

Gill Ralph and her husband are the Co-ordinators for a new Project in Wolston and Rugby for the Buddy Bag Foundation. The Group has been started by Dr Kate Atkins of Wolston.Dr Kate is looking to assemble for 22nd June, 180 Rucksacks (Buddy Bags), in these Rucksacks they are looking to include:-

  • 180 Teddies (Knitted)
  • 180 Pouches (Sewn)
  • 180 Pencil Cases (Sewn) etc.

The Buddy Bag Foundation supplies buddy bags to children who find themselves in emergency care after a traumatic incident. These bags help make a difference by ensuring a child has the essential items they need for their immediate wellbeing and comfort. (Also in the bags are other essential items)

On the Buddy Bag Foundation Website there is a “BBF Craft Pack” heading and there is a large document of 30 plus pages (please be aware that this document takes an enormous amount of ink to print), and therefore it maybe preferable to locate the pages with the required pattern and just print the relevant pages. We have to use the patterns contained therein.

The Craft Pack indicates that the items should be sent to Birmingham, please note that for the Wolston and Rugby Group they need to come to us. Thank you.

I do have access to some materials for the sewing items, if any are required please let me know.

If you and your members are able to help us in any way we would be most grateful.
Myself and my husband are more than willing to collect any items ready for distribution.
Any enquiries please do not hesitate to contact me on 07770 302946.

Many thanks.

Gill Ralph
