Dear Friends,

I hope that you are all keeping well and are adjusting to this new way of life.

Yesterday should have been the Annual Federation Meeting at Dallas Burston and we had a splendid day planned for you all but the best laid plans……..

Here we are at the start of my third year as Federation Chair. It is a real honour to be asked to lead your team of Trustees again and I am delighted that we have retained some experienced Trustees as well as recruiting some new members on the Board for the next year.

We are very sorry to say goodbye to Gillian Crisp, Margaret Pilkington and Jeryl Stone who have served Warwickshire WIs so very capably for many years and I am sure you will all join me in wishing them well for the future.

I would also like to thank Veronica Chapman and Christine Dyer for their hard work as they step down as Vice Chairs of the Federation.

We are very pleased to welcome Glynis Forknall, Sue Gill and Fiona Riley to the Board.

The Officers are: Sue Myhill – Treasurer, Julia Baker – Vice Chair, Sue Ensor – Vice Chair

The following Trustees make up the team and will fulfil a variety of roles with responsibilities for everything from Health and Safety to Chairing the various sub committees: Julia Baker, Veronica Chapman, Christine Dyer, Sue Ensor, Glynis Forknall, Sue Gill, Heather Howell, Yvette Hunt, Ruth McCartney and Fiona Riley.

I am delighted to report that Gillian, Margaret and Jeryl have all agreed to stay on the Board for the moment in an advisory capacity while we deal with the fallout from the Covid 19 situation.

I would also like to thank Sarah and Kathy in the Office for their hard work and support throughout the year. They are currently working from home dealing with lots of queries and event refunds so don’t hesitate to contact them if you need to on 01926 419998 or

As well as listening to the Butterfly Brothers and meeting the NFWI Officers we should also have drawn the Spring Raffle. The tickets and prizes are safely locked away in the Federation Office and we will make the Draw as soon as is possible and let you know who the lucky winners are.

You may like to know that we postponed the Annual Meeting originally until June 22nd but we are currently considering what to do next as it may not be possible to hold it then. I will keep you updated.

Do take a look at our website for the latest updates and you can see what the trustees have been up to on social media too.

With every good wish to you and your families

Anne and the Board of Trustees.
