Corona News No 8
Just a note to say hope you are all keeping well and staying safe. The Trustees are working hard to keep the Federation going – we meet fortnightly on ZOOM and try to keep up with everything which is going on.
Each of the sub-committees have now met online and worked with their new Chairs to sort out events going forward. Even though there can be no certainty about when the Pandemic will end, we are all doing our best to plan an interesting and exciting programme of future events for all you lovely members!
As you already know many events have been cancelled for May and June and in some cases refunds are being issued. The sub-committees are all clear that they will try to put the cancelled events on in 2021 whenever possible.
Here is a list of the new dates for some postponed events for your interest. Please note that these are only provisional at this stage but we think you might find it helpful.

It is inspirational to see how many of our members right across the county are stepping up and making necessary items to support our key workers. Well done! By the way, Julia, the Editor of the Corunna News is hoping that you will all send in your Lockdown Lowdown articles and photographs so that the first issue will be a magnificent tribute to all of you during these challenging times. It’s really encouraging to see so many of you entering The Doorstep Photo Competition and joining in with us on social media.
I am joining several WI meetings on line in the coming weeks and look forward to seeing you all in person in the none too distant future.
With very best wishes
Anne and the Trustee Team
