Patricia Carswell is a freelance journalist, copywriter, and award -winning blogger. She has written for a huge variety of national newspapers and magazines and is the book editor of WI Life Magazine. She started her working life as a lawyer but after 10 years gave it all up to write, moving to Monmouth, then she faced a number of stumbling blocks including breast cancer but has found that a good book and a sense of humour will see her through most challenges. She will be talking about her work as a book editor, how she chooses the books that make it into reviews and how reading is one of the best things you can do for your health.
