Sue Gill

I’ve only been a member of the WI for 11 or 12 years but I love it! I soon joined the committee and also took on the role of group organiser. I love working with people to help them achieve more than they thought possible – and that’s why I joined the Public Affairs committee to help focus on our campaigns. I’ve learnt a lot from many inspiring women through the WI so when asked if I would like to join the board of trustees for Warwickshire Federation I jumped at the chance. I had to take a year out but I’m back and raring to go. I believe I can bring a little different experience to the table as my working background is in technology – first delivering increasingly better UK broadband and then ground-breaking international media and broadcast networks. I am excited about how I can work to help the WI to stay relevant over its next century, but above all, I mean to continue enjoying learning!
