Did you know that those well known stock cubes are especially wrapped so that you can crumble them inside the packet and not get the cube all over your fingers? I was astounded when someone showed me. All you do is pull the little wings out, squash the cube inside the foil gently with your fingers . Rip a little hole in the corner of the foil packet and pour… hey presto.
Perfect stock every time and no mess !
