| Welcome to February’s News!
Hopefully, you are enjoying the snowdrops and other early signs of spring. We all know that March can come in like a lamb and go out like a lion – so I am not discarding my winter woollies just yet!
Our first open coffee morning at Corunna Court is on March 8th from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Please feel free to pop in and meet with some of the Trustees and Katie and Louise. There will be a warm welcome and tea and cake. If you have never visited the Federation Office, this is an ideal opportunity. We would love to see you.
By now you will have all heard (or are about to hear) about our “Coronation Curtsy” (the Americans put the “e” in) which we hope to flood social media with in the run up to the Coronation of King Charles and the Queen Consort. Please encourage your WI to join in and let’s get Warwickshire WIs going viral!
To celebrate the Coronation we have also announced that The Lane Cup will be a Post box topper – so get designing!
Save the Date- Our Grand Day out this time will be to Cambridge on August 2nd with a pick up near you. These pick ups will only run if there is enough take up from that area. So please try and join us as there is so much to do and see in Cambridge.
If you would like to observe at the Federation Board meetings, or any of the sub committees, please contact the office and we will arrange a suitable date. There will be no obligation to join, but if you want to know more about how the federation works it’s a great way to find out!
