June Newsletter

Dear Members

I do hope you are all enjoying the lovely weather we are having – although my garden would be very grateful of some rain! Perhaps we will be able to pick up some tips from Nick Bailey at the AFM about more drought tolerant plants. Tickets are still available for the Royal Spa Centre on 26/7/23 (7pm start).

We have been busy at Federation house over the last couple of months, the plant sale combined with the Photo competition was well attended – well done to the winners! Also, a big thank you for all the cakes you provided for the Kenilworth Show, our tea and cakes were a great success on a very warm day. Thank you for all the support and help.

Also, we have updated the website so please have a browse to see the changes.

The new online newsletter was launched last month – I hope you all managed to have a look. It comes to you as a link in the monthly newsletter from the office. The next one will be with you in August. At the AFM we will be launching our new WI Warwickshire News magazine, which we hope you enjoy and find interesting, please let us have any news you have to share.

There is lots coming up – but please try and book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. This will also help us to either increase the numbers if the demand is great enough or enable us to cancel and get our deposit back!

Thank you for your continuing support of The WI and Warwickshire WI, I look forward to seeing many of you at the Spa Centre on the 26th July for the AFM.

Enjoy the summer,

Sue

Warwickshire Federation Chairman
