Dear Members,
Christmas is fast approaching, and I am sure all of you will be looking forward to your WI’s Christmas meeting. My WI are holding a wreath making evening open to the village – a great fund raiser for us and a lot of fun! Some of us are off to Oxford to start our Christmas shopping at the beginning of December, so keep your fingers crossed for some good weather for us!
I would like to welcome our newest WI – Houlton WI to the Warwickshire Federation! We look forward to welcoming their members to our events and hope they enjoy WI as much as we all do.
At Federation we are busy organising a variety of events for you to join in the New Year, including the Treasure Hunt in June and our Photographic completion in May.
The categories are: “First Flowers of Spring”, “A Sunset or Sunrise” and “Sporting Action” (with explanation). All photos to be 8×6 size, more details in the New Year.
I can confirm that the Annual Federation Meeting will be on Wednesday July 26th at the Spa Centre for an evening meeting. There will be more information with your Secretary after Christmas.
On behalf of the Federation Board of Trustees and Katie and Louise, may I wish you a Happy and peaceful Christmas and a busy WI New Year.
