Being a Creative Butterfly

After 22 years as a secondary school teacher of Art I took a leap of faith and decided to leave the classroom and offer a series of creative workshops at a variety of venues to help people find their inner creative self.

I teach kiln formed glass ( glass fusing), needle and wet felting, journal making, enamel jewellery, how to use an
embellisher, hand printed wrapping paper, enamel jewellery etc.

As a speaker, I enthusiastically explain my starting points and how I use different media to explore ideas for
creating in glass, textiles, print etc. (students can view a selection of examples and might wish to attend one of
the workshops in the future) I can also do a demo of one of the techniques if required. I can also offer to teach a
‘mini make’ for members of your group to join in an activity for a small fee, please contact me to discuss this
