Judy Warner – Volunteer Representative Zoes Place Hospice

We provide respite, palliative and end of life care to babies and infants 0-5yrs of age and much needed support to

their families from across Coventry, Warwickshire and surrounding areas. Zoes Place Trust provides the only baby

specific hospices in the country- there are three – and we are so lucky to have one right here in our area.

We focus on providing one to one care for the children and a holistic service for the whole family and our

beautiful light, colourful, laughter filled hospice is a place where children are encouraged to thrive and enjoy

wonderful experiences and families can build many happy memories.

Caring for a sick child is exhausting and parents benefit from some “down time” for themselves as we offer much

needed respite care, which allows them to relax knowing their child is not only being cared for by highly skilled

professionals but is having lots of fun. They also benefit by knowing that support and advice is available for them

also.

Our talk describes the services we offer and what they mean to the families. We can include a lovely video “In my

shoes” showing one of our nurses at work with the children and describing her role.
