Supporting Women in Coventry : A Talk About Kairos

Kairos Women Working Together (Kairos WWT) is a Coventry-based charity supporting women who have
experienced trauma and face multiple, intersecting disadvantages. Based at The Old Grammar School in
Coventry city centre, our central location has improved access to our much-needed services and enabled
us to reach even more women in need.
During the talk, I will share more about the work we do to support women who are at risk of, or have
experienced, sexual exploitation, homelessness, poverty, involvement with the criminal justice system,
and other complex challenges. This includes pregnant women and mothers facing compounded risks,
young women aged 16+, women involved in or exiting the sex industry, and women experiencing
insecure housing.
I will also explain how our trauma-informed approach helps women rebuild their lives through practical
support, advocacy, and long-term relationships, and how our regular programmes offer a safe, welcoming
space where women can begin their journey towards recovery and independence.
