The Trouble with Trivia –This is the story of my thirty year hobby of competing on TV and Radio quiz shows, some fifteen to date. It examines the agony and ecstasy which all serious quizzers experience in the spotlight, particularly in the dreaded Mastermind black chair! I’ve enjoyed some success and can claim to be the most unpopular contestant ever on ‘THE WEAKEST LINK!
If You Knew Peggy Sue- Perhaps more appropriate for male audiences this is a cautionary tale for ‘petrol-heads’ told alongside forty slides. It charts my obsession over owning and renovating a 1962 Mark 2 Jaguar which I named Peggy Sue (don’t ask me why). After two very eventful, stressful and expensive years I finally turned a rusty old Jag into a the most pristine example in the country.
